Almar Group, a leading company in logistics services for mining and large-scale projects, played an active role in the 27th edition of Arminera 2025, the most important international exhibition for the mining industry in Argentina. The event took place from May 20 to 22 at the La Rural exhibition center in Buenos Aires, bringing together top national and international industry leaders.
Over the three-day event, the Almar Group team maintained a busy work agenda, visiting strategic clients and participating in key meetings with authorities and representatives from sector institutions. The company highlighted its extensive experience in complex, large-scale logistics operations, developed over years of working alongside leading mining companies in the country.
One of the most significant meetings was with National Senator Flavio Fama, president of the Senate’s Energy, Mining and Fuels Committee. They discussed the current state and future of mining activity in northern Argentina, with a particular focus on Glencore, the operator of the new Agua Rica mining project in Catamarca.
With a strategic presence in Puerto Deseado, Santa Cruz, Almar Group also visited the booth of Camicruz (Santa Cruz Mining Chamber), where they held discussions with its president, Verónica Nohara, and strengthened institutional ties with the Governor of the Province, Claudio Vidal, and the Mayor of Puerto Deseado, Juan Raúl Martínez.
“Arminera is always a key meeting space. This edition allowed us to deepen our dialogue with Camicruz and gain first-hand insights into new developments in Santa Cruz, a key province for us,” said Carlos Bidabehere, President of Almar Group. “We also appreciated the opportunity to reconnect with long-standing clients and essential players in an industry we've been part of for many years,” he added.
Arminera is an exclusive event for professionals, entrepreneurs, and institutions linked to the mining industry. Year after year, it consolidates its position as the most important meeting point for the sector in Argentina, promoting the exchange of knowledge, technology, and business opportunities.
